Websites and SEO for churches
We build church websites that work for the people who haven't walked in yet, and we make sure your church shows up when someone nearby goes looking. Real websites, real search results, no sales process.
True Light Digital is the church studio of Proud Brands, a digital growth studio founded in 2014. Same people, same methods, now pointed at the church.
Two things we do
Why a church needs either
Because the first visit now happens on a phone. Someone new to the area searches, looks at the map, looks at the times, reads the photos, and decides. If the times are wrong, or buried, or the church isn't on the map at all, they choose somewhere else and nobody ever knows. Nothing about your church was wrong. It just wasn't findable, or wasn't clear once found.
Most churches don't need much. A correct listing, a clear home page, a page for people who are new, and a site the office can keep right. We do that well, and we don't add things a church doesn't need.
How we work
Step one of three
We listen before we build
To the pastor and to the person who actually updates the site. We know the difference between Mass times and service times, a parish and a plant, and a diocese and a network. You won't have to explain your church to us before we can help it.
Step two of three
We write in plain words, with you
We don't use jargon in meetings and we don't use it on your website.
Step three of three
We say what things will cost before we start
We don't sell monthly work a church doesn't need. When the right answer is "fix these five things and leave it", we say that.
Free things worth having
Before you talk to anyone, there are plain guides on this site: church SEO from start to finish, how churches are actually using AI, what a church website has to do for a first-time visitor. Free, no email needed. Catholic parishes get a deeper library of templates and essays under Formation.
And there's the free check. Send your church's address and website and we'll look at it the way a stranger on a phone would, then send you a short note with what to fix. Whether or not you go further with us.
Tell us what's not working
Thirty minutes, free, no slides. The person who'd do the work takes the call, and you get a one-page note afterwards either way.
